The marshlands of Mazerolles occupy a surface of 1,130 hectares (1,350yd2) on the left bank of the river Erdre in the North-East of Sucé, 18km away from Nantes.
169 species of birds can be observed in this paradise for fauna and flora, including many migratory birds, as well as very rare and protected plants. You can also admire very lovely landscapes. The underground is very rich in peat, sand on a width of 20 to 40 metres, and water (ground water).
