Port-Meleu beach is located further east of Préfailles, in the Port-Meleu district (before Port-aux-Goths and the wild coast). Labeled Blue Flag, the level of service is identical to the Grande Plage and Anse du Sud: supervised swimming in July and August, showers, diving boards, water quality bring comfort and safety to this swimming area. In summer, beach volleyball tournaments take place every other Tuesday at 6 p.m. The rental of beach cabins is possible from April to October, information at the Préfailles Tourist Information Office.
The "Les Viviers de Port-Meleu" beach bar and restaurant offers a breathtaking view from the shaded terrace, for lunch, dinner or a drink. Evenings are regularly organized there. The Port-Meleu outdoor camping-hotel is just opposite. The village is 20 minutes walk by the coast. You can also reach the main shops through the quiet little streets, on foot or by bicycle.
