In the heart of La Roche-sur-Yon, the Haras de la Vendée, a cultural site run by the Vendée department, shares its passion for horses with you. In a 4.5 hectare park dedicated to the equestrian arts, come and meet the horse in all its majesty and diversity.

Learn about dressage, watch working sessions and discover the different stages involved in creating an equestrian act. Attend equestrian shows, guided tours or interactive educational workshops, and enter into the intimate relationship between man and horse.

The Haras gardens are open to the public free of charge, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, January to April, May to June and September to mid-December (closed on public holidays).

Admission is charged on the days of events and shows, according to the diary. Access may also be closed in preparation for events.
