SOLESMES
This small building dates from the second half of the 15th century and was the ancient courthouse of the domain of Pescoux.
At a place called Le Chiron, a stone tower remains, which is in fact the body of an old windmill that produced flour.
Only a few slabs remain of this great monument, whose cairn was excavated and restored between 1987 and 1992.
Located in the garden of the town hall, it is the tallest in the Vendée and one of the tallest in France.
