Tradition has it that in years of drought, the population would go in procession to the fountain.
It was once 6.50 metres high, but part of the point collapsed during a high tide in the early 1960s.
It is surrounded by 6 menhirs.
It is also known as the Fountain of the Fairy or the Fountain of the White Lady.
Continuous guided tours in the afternoon (2pm-6pm) during the summer (1 July to 31 August).
