Presentation of: Eglise Saint-Nicolas

It was on this site that Saint Nicolas church was built in the Romanesque style in the 12th century. In the 14th century, it was decided to build the present bell tower in the centre of the church.
The church is in the shape of a Greek cross, with a short nave, a transept, a choir bay and a semi-circular apse. The octagonal bell tower, built on a square base, is flanked by belfries. Its four sides are pierced by three windows adorned with decorative figures.
From the Romanesque period, the side walls and the arms of the transept remain, vaulted in broken cradles. Each gable has a high, splayed window. The base of the bell tower is an eight-ribbed dome. The chevet consists of three bays with ribbed ceilings.
Fragments of medieval wall paintings were discovered in 1968.

The church has been listed as a Historic Monument since 20 November 1906.
