Presentation of: Eglise Saint-Sauveur
Although the building has been destroyed and rebuilt several times, part of it dates back to the 11th century.
A fire started by the Protestants destroyed the church and priory in 1568, after which no repairs were carried out for almost a century. After some basic repairs, the church was damaged during the French Revolution. Repairs to the bell tower, choir and west facade were undertaken in 1877 under the leadership of Abbé Guerineau. The 8-century-old building was extensively restored between 1964 and 1967.
The building has been listed as a Historic Monument since 14 July 1877.
