Presentation of: EXPLORA PARC
Explora Parc is THE leisure park in the Saint Jean de Monts area. It's a special place, right in the heart of the pine forest, where you can have fun and relax as a family, while enjoying the contact with nature. Sporting and unusual activities supervised by a dynamic team, fun and good humour to discover the forest in a different way!
Originally an accrobranche park, the park has developed over the years to offer a variety of activities for families and friends:
- Tree climbing course (until midnight every Wednesday until 21 August)
- Trampo' net
- Laser tag
- Archery tag
- Archery tag
- Virtual reality
- Orienteering game
- Snack bar and terrace bar
All in the heart of the pine forest, where all the wooden facilities have been designed to be in harmony with the surrounding environment. Follow us as we explain everything!
With its 10 adventure courses in the trees offering 5 levels of difficulty, Accrobranche is the park's flagship activity. On your own, with no time constraints (your entry ticket is valid for the day), you can climb to the top of the pine trees in complete safety, thanks to a system of carabiners guaranteed to "click it", making it impossible to detach them during the course. Children (aged 6 and over) and adults alike can ride the cables, supervised by qualified operators. The best conditions for a thrilling experience. Who will be brave enough to take on the 300 m long mega zip line? A family park if ever there was one, Explora Parc has the little ones in mind, with a baby course entirely dedicated to children aged 3 to 5. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about carabiners (Saferoller continuous lifeline) and zip-lines 1.50 m above the ground, while waiting to follow the older children on the green courses. Children will want to keep their heads in the clouds, and that's the promise of Trampo'nets, over 750 m² of high nets spread over 3 floors. Ball pools, perched huts and suspended balls will delight your little ones. There are two zones for different ages: one for 2/7 year olds and a second for 8/14 year olds. Energy expenditure, antics and laughter guaranteed!
With friends or with your teenagers (and pre-teens), discover virtual reality, orienteering, archery tag or archery, activities (booking required) developed in recent years in the park to enhance your day (or for those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground!), the opportunity to experience superb outdoor adventures:
- Laser Tag (from age 8) is all the fun of laser tag and paint ball, but in the great outdoors and, above all, completely harmless. In a 100% natural setting, enjoy a fun and sporting activity, challenging yourself as a team or on your own. The multiple scenarios, the technology used and the natural setting make for a most unusual experience. It's your turn to find out your scores on the big screen in the heart of the forest!
- The outdoor arena opens its doors to you: armed with your bow, arrows and protective mask, set off on an adventure in an unusual game of Archery Tag. Accessible to 10-year-olds and over, thanks to its adapted and harmless equipment, this activity offers game sessions lasting 3 x 10 minutes. You'll need cunning and team spirit to challenge your opponents, defend your side and score as many hits as possible. The battle will be tough, but the triumph will be all the sweeter for it. For shooting enthusiasts who don't need to be fast or race, Explora Parc also offers archery sessions from age 9. Whether you're a beginner or already an amateur archer, you'll fall under the spell of this shooting spot. Under the pine trees, as if cut off from the rest of the world, concentrate on the target, cock the gun and shoot! Catherine, a qualified archery instructor, will share her passion for this activity with you in one-hour sessions or weekly courses (1? hours daily).
- How about combining nature and new technologies for your next activity at Explora Parc? The game mat, headset and scenarios offered by Virtual Reality immerse you completely in your chosen world. You are the main character in a life-size game. The Explor'Aventure orienteering games with tablet feature 3 new quests. Orienteering and puzzles will take you through the pine forest, and will you be able to solve the quest? (Accessible to children aged 3 and over).
Explora Parc is also the ideal place to celebrate the events that mean so much to you. Whether it's your child's birthday or your best friend's hen party, the team is on hand to organise everything, guaranteed to make an impact!
Have you already taken a moment to relax at the "Sous les Branches" bar and snack bar? If not, it's time to do something about it! In the heart of the park, on its huge wooden terrace, come and enjoy a break in the middle of nature. It's the ideal place to eat during your day in the park. Imagine, in the gentle scent of the pines, enjoying a salad, a sandwich or a "fouée" with your choice of toppings. Finish off with an ice cream and a coffee before getting on with your day. You can also enjoy an aperitif with friends during the many summer evenings organised by the team, or an afterwork party with beers and aperitif boards generously garnished with carefully selected local produce.
The Explora Parc team is proud of its values, particularly those relating to environmental protection, having chosen to obtain the "Committed to a sustainable destination" label from the Tourist Office. Waste management, the sourcing of materials for the park and raw materials for the snack bar, and the preservation of the trees that support the business all bear witness to this. The park has also been awarded the "Qualité tourisme" label, a sign of its commitment to offering quality services to its customers, while listening to their satisfaction. Last but not least, the "C'est Beau Ici" label recognises the park's efforts to appeal to English-speaking customers, with a welcome in English by all staff, fully translated communication materials and signage on site, an introductory film with subtitles, an English-language website and, of course, Guinness on draught at the bar!
So see you soon for the Explora Parc experience!
