Brand Qualité Tourisme La Cite du Lait ® Lactopole, the first visit site labeled in Mayenne. Following three years of close collaboration between the teams at La Cité du Lait® Lactopole and Mayenne Tourisme, the Lactalis Group Museum has been awarded the very first Tourism Quality Label, awarded in Mayenne, for a visit site. . The fact is all the more original because La Cité du Lait® Lactopole is a corporate museum whose purpose is to introduce the Group's history and the dairy industry to the general public. The brand set up by the State in 2003, aims to improve the tourism offer of France. This system is based on a common foundation of quality national commitments. It is then declined at the territorial level under the control of the Regional Prefect (DIRRECTE). In Pays de la Loire, it was set up for the places of visit in 2011 in Anjou and Loire-Atlantique then extended in 2012 in Vendée, Sarthe and Mayenne. It is in this dynamic, that in 2013, the team of the Cité du Lait ® Lactopole launched in the process, accompanied by Mayenne Tourism. The objectives are multiple: internal since they aim to improve the animation of the teams of the museum and external because they allow to perpetuate methods of communication and reception of the public. Winning the Brand is a rewarding recognition of professionalism among partners and the general public. The repository: More than 200 criteria designed to satisfy the visitor, divided into 4 chapters: • Communication tools (leaflet, website, tel, mails, letters, fax ...) • Outdoor equipment (signage, parking, signage, reception ...) • Commitments related to the visit (staff, ticketing, tour, didactic tools ...) • Additional services (sanitary, various services, bar, restaurant, shop ...) 3 transversal themes: staff, English and maintenance of the site.
